Dreamweavers: Woven in Time

Chris Allard

‘borders on genius’ Jazz Journal ★★★★

A cinematic, eclectic and mercurial guitar album, “Woven in Time” incorporates broad soundscapes, a contemporary jazz sensibility, and rock, folk, blues, latin and eastern influence. The evolving collaboration between Chris Allard and Mike Trim has resulted in a wide-ranging album at once earthy, contemplative, considered, and yet also energetic, fiery and space-age.

Dreamweavers: Woven in Time features live and organic acoustic performance, multi-layered instrumentation and high-level improvising, with creatively and delicately built sonic design utilising contemporary cutting-edge production techniques; generating a distinctive and evocative sound-world.

Woven in Time is the first release of new collaborative project Dreamweavers.
A follow-up album, with a more live-in-the-studio aesthetic, is nearly complete and planned for release late 2025.
